As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity, Independence Northwest is governed by a volunteer board of directors. Per our nonprofit bylaws, the majority of our directors must be individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or family members of individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

We are truly community-led, guided by people whose lives are affected by and connected with the services we provide. We are blessed to have an active board of directors with deep roots in the brokerage and Oregon disability community.
