Independence Northwest is open Monday through Friday, 9am – 5pm, excluding major holidays.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Beginning March 12th, 2020 the Independence Northwest office will be closed to regular visitors. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, our staff will be practicing social distancing and performing services remotely. The office building at 919 NE 19th Avenue in Portland will remain open and you may still leave mail by sliding it under the door. This includes timesheets and invoices.

Inclement Weather Policy

For inclement weather, Independence Northwest follows the Portland Public Schools closure schedule in the area where Independence Northwest’s office is located (NE Portland). If PPS is closed, Independence Northwest’s office will closed. On days our office has an unplanned closure due to weather, Personal Agents who are scheduled to work will respond to urgent issues via phone and email during regular office hours. If a Personal Agent already has scheduled time off, their email auto-reply or voicemail message will direct callers to their coverage.
